The program
Your business runs on decisions. Most of them are getting made without enough time to think.
Weekly Checkpoint is a structured weekly session that installs a planning and accountability system into how you operate — so priorities get set, decisions get made, and work actually moves forward.
The program
One hour a week. A system that compounds.
The bottleneck in most small businesses isn't effort — it's the absence of a reliable operating rhythm. Without a structured cadence, priorities shift daily, decisions stack up, and the same problems resurface month after month. Weekly Checkpoint installs that rhythm. One dedicated hour per week to assess what's in front of you, build a plan, and leave with clear next actions. The output isn't a conversation — it's a deliverable you can put to work.
How it works
Three inputs. One repeating system.
Intake call
A 15-minute scoping conversation to assess fit — for both sides. We map what's on your plate, identify where the system is breaking down, and determine whether this engagement makes sense. No pitch. If it's a go, we set the first session and define the opening month's focus.
Weekly sessions
One structured hour per week, by phone or video. Every session runs the same format: check in on status, work the current priority, confirm next actions before we close. Consistent structure is the point — it's what makes the system work.
Monthly deliverable
Each four-week cycle produces one tangible output — a process document, an org structure, a pricing model, a hiring framework. Something built to spec, reviewed together, and handed off ready to use. Not notes from a call. An actual work product.
The monthly cadence
Four sessions. One work product.
Four sessions per month — assess, scope, execute, deliver. Every cycle ends with one tangible work product.
"Every month ends with a work product you can put into operation. Not a summary of what we discussed — something built."
— The Weekly Checkpoint standard
Fit criteria
This is a specific engagement for a specific operator.
The program is designed around a narrow profile. Check your situation against the criteria below before reaching out.
This works well if you…
- Owner of a small business — under 10 employees
- No internal leadership layer to delegate planning and prioritization to
- Decisions are getting delayed because there's no structured time to make them
- You want a system and a sounding board — not a strategy deck
- You'll show up prepared and act on what we build together
This probably isn't right if you…
- You want someone to run the business or manage your team for you
- You're looking for motivational coaching or accountability check-ins without deliverables
- You can't protect one hour per week on your calendar
About Billy Roca
10 years building systems under pressure. Now applying them to small business.
Billy Roca spent a decade in the Army leading teams, managing projects, and fixing broken processes under real operational constraints — tight timelines, limited resources, high stakes. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and has spent the years since applying that same operational discipline to small business owners who need structure but can't afford a full-time operations hire. He works with a small number of clients at a time. Outside the work, he's a father of twins and spends most of his time outdoors.

If the criteria fit, let's run the intake call.
Fifteen minutes. We'll assess your current situation, confirm whether this is the right engagement, and — if it is — get the first session scheduled.
